Cedoux believes that art should have a social purpose. He would like his work to act as a mirror in which the viewer sees his own behaviour reflected. He hopes to inspire people to question their own relationship to society and the natural environment, to become, in effect, more aware of their own rights and responsibilities to people and the planet. His prayer is that through art he may accomplish his dream and bring about social change, thus providing a small beacon of light in the darkness.

Cedoux transmits his message through many different media – painting, photography, poetry and video – but his ultimate aim is to become an artistic director. The Spotlight Project gave him an excellent opportunity to develop his artistic skills and expand his knowledge in the work of production. The Spotlight Festival 2013 provides a record of his professional achievement.

Cedoux croit que l'art doit avoir un but social. Il souhaite que son travail puisse agir comme un miroir dans lequel un spectateur verra son propre comportement se reflèter. Il espère inspirer les gens à s'interroger sur leur propre relation à la société et l'environnement naturel, de devenir, en effet, plus conscients de leurs droits et responsabilités à leur communautés et le monde en général.
